regards getting a vid uploaded to You tube, I'd take a look at Screen-o-matic and ScreenToaster. Both are reputable screen capturing services.
I have more familiarity with Screen-O-matic. Simple to use - you can add notes, upload to youtube ( or your screencasts have unique URLs you could post anyway.
Play around with both.
