MrMarcus has given his pessimistic views i guess trying to down ramp. The resource figures thus far are based on very few holes and take in a lot of
low grade material, Its far from being remote only 30 km from a good road. There already has been a substantial treatment plant there and considerable mining going back to 1934 and up till early eighties.
Lets hope drilling starts soon as we were told back on the 12th January drills were enroute to the site hmmm.
No doubt the company will target the higher grade section as outlined in cross section A-B where there are 896 m of high grade with an average 1.48% copper and 0.7 g/t gold, using meters x grade calculation.
There are only 4 intersepts this would be the reason for the indicated category. Take these figures and compare to those from adjoining mines Batong Buhay produced 926,478 DMT at a mine head grade of 1.25% Copper for the year 1984. Reports on the Dickson Cu/Au also says has a high grade core with a diameter of 220m and average assays of 1.43% copper plus 1.35 g/t gold and is enveloped by an outer shell of 0.5% copper.
Lets wait and see what this 6000m of drilling does. My guess is the grade will be significantly increased after several more drill holes go through that core around section A-B.
