Great points above my post. I just want to add, I am an FA guy. But uses charts for my entry points.
If you're starting out, even if you're an FA person, I would recommend spending $40 and buying TA book written by John Murphy.
You can easily recoup that investment within one or two transactions.
You won't probably still get it right always, but even if we get around 60 to 70 % right, we'd be sitting pretty. And chances of making big bad decisions reduce, FOMO is controlled and an eye on TA keeps emotions in check. Not applicable for MGT though hehee.
