Hi all,
Long term Tassal holder here. Thought I would inform the community of some information I have just seen at my local Woolies (Greater Brisbane Area)
- Tassal pre-portion (not smoked) salmon 2-3 days off expiring.
- Woolworth sale sticker indicating first packaged in late 2018 - early 2019.
Take this information as you will but this has instilled some concerns for me regarding the company's inventory. My original thoughts was that the excess inventory from COVID and temp. export halting would quickly disseminate into the retail channel but I may have potentially underestimated its impact. Maybe I am reading too far into this and this is a natural part of business? I would encourage others to report if they see similar things.
