It does if all the sellers are just looking for short term profits, or stop loss. Some will take the profits, others will buy back in at a lower price.
its a very volatile stock on the best of days, so in some ways this is not surprising.
I dont think anything has changed. Just people are impatient or nervous, which is normal in a spec stock (which we still are until confirmation of fab and contract).
