you have to appreciate a good old correction for all its worth.
We havent had one, for ages. Not the crash in march, but a 10-15% wipe off the indices, and it is the fear of the unknown, that sends newbies into head spins.
Ive been trading since 2006, lived through the GFC, and many, many corrections. And we just havent had many of late. Its a blooding, that is necessary to stop idiots paying stupid prices for the crap within the sector.
The unfortunate casualty, is that it effects all. The tide takes all with it, as newbies panicking, sell even good stock to cover their losses elsewhere.
But, you know which ones rise after the fall ? The good stocks, with great assets in play. What happens to the crap ? Newbies become a little more hesitant.
If you buy quality stocks, with good management and assets in play, then dont panick over the volatility. The market will re-price and reward those companies who deliver, and punish those who were driven higher on fluff.
