Bungy I agree with your first point but it would be water under the bridge now.
On the second point they received an offer and knocked it back - exposing them to the market again for funds.
Now we are at the crest and the company can be held to ransome by a fund provider with a lot of weapons (up to 100 million shares and 80 odd million opies to distroy the company at this time.
Remember if the opies aren't in the money then GDN isn't in the money ($30 odd million).
This money thing is all speculation but if it is an issue then the sooner a deal is done and the handbreaks are released then the better to company and its shareholders will be.
I fear brinkmanship is being played but the fund provider will be the winner before GDN and its shareholders will be.
