I really believe that it is the nature of the exchanges, which was given for a listing on the ASX, that gives the price difference.
A little bit like Driving Miss Daisy (JSE) meets Dirty Harry (ASX).
Somebody with the resources to get the arbitrage happening. Both shorting here and buying there will make some $ big time.
