i suspect some posters here who are long a stock and giving price targets significantly higher than the current price are actually on the sell and in the firing line trying to exit by luring in buyers.
there has been a few times i have seen target prices given (no hope of being achieved), a bit of volume goes through, stock falls and no mention again from the poster.
