M Goldberg seems to have bought Dickie's story hook, line and sinker.

Even aside from the inherent irrationality of saying that the former CEO was not to blame when the business he led blew up, the former CEO was (like Dickie) also the Managing Director and so sat on the Board (with his major shareholding father and a few flatterers).

So the Board that Dickie says caused the trouble actually had the former and current CEOs on it.

Next we'll hear that Decmil won the US election!
