That's because the whole community has had to isolate , wear masks , wash hands and socially diatance. As well people not getting public transport , working from home . We shouldn't have these horrible flus. It has taken a pandemic like the Chinese flu to force us to take responsibility for not spreading disease and hence less flu around. I have been carrying hand gel for 5 years and gelling hands , holding my breath when I walk past people who I see coughing or sneezing I have also worked as an RN with lots of sick patients so maybe have some immunity. I havnt been sick in decades. Hopefully the way we live now with hand held everywhere and socially distancing where possible will become the new norm. What is a bit scary is howany people get horribly sick on planes.
