Just a heads up.

The bloody great bushfire some idiot started here in the hills (71 house lost) had been blowing towards the coast i.e. in an easterly direction.

We are now hitting a slightly cooler change which is great for the fire fighters except the fire is now heading in the Julimar direction.

Its still a long way off but Julimar has been added to the Government list of places to be on watch.

Strong Southerly winds are forecast.

The good news is the weekend may see some rain so we just have to pray for that.

The worst it will effect DEVEX is potentially it could delay drilling a few days but spare a thought for farmers and homeowners in nearby districts who in some cases have lost everything.

I won't give updates on this better to get your news on this if interested from the Governments fire website or even the TV news will mention this story tonight, I imagine even in the east.
