Hi Interesting post,

Maybe twas a good idea to seize the assets when one considers the over 20 trillion in risk as at 30 june 2008 in the OTC derivatives as stated by (bis)which is obviously held in the portfolios of unknown corporations as we speak..

Maybe they just thought they would get in 1st as they might feel if there was ever a rush to seize and cover, there might well not actually be 20 trillion in assets to seize and share around if needed.. not sure. Maybe there is no need to rush, but they did it, and i am sure they felt they had a very good reason.

The OTC derivatives is only the largest market on the planet so not sure why it even makes the news really! or some might say.
