If Mitsui and LKAB each get a 15% stake in Talga, that is quite a bit of dilution for current shareholders. With governments willing to guarantee bank loans to companies like Talga, or possibly even give Talga the money to build an anode plant in their country, Talga does not need Mitsui’s money, and there is plenty of demand for Talga’s anodes in Europe (where profit margins are probably better). What should Talga shareholders expect from Mitsui in exchange for a stake in our company? Maybe we should just enter into an off-take agreement with Mitsui.
