Totally agree with your theory Grandslam, there will be pressure from international community which will without a doubt cause issues when trying to get funding.
I spent 11yrs working for one of the biggest banks (only left ~18months ago) in the world and most of that time was spent working in their global co
mmercial banking department. I can say with confidence that because of pressure from regulators any corporate transactions in/with Myanmar will be red flagged. Australian domestic banks and the large internationals will stear clear.
I'm not bagging MYL and I was a holder until the last little spike and I would consider buying back when this government thing is cleared up or take a tiny 'through away' position if the price tanks to ~ 0.01c.
But every share holder should be aware of the risk here if Myanmar ends up on a sanctions list again.....financing will be almost impossible.
