Seems to be a lot of smoke and mirrors in their scare campaign. If you put a petition in front of someone and ask if they care about the environment then they will probably sign without knowing the full story.
Surfers way of life at risk? Please... Laughable.
Also the vast majority of boaters would never be that far out to sea.
Not sure where the 5km drilling fears came from but I'm sure if that is a possibility it could be amended to 20km or whatever.
