Now that the effects of the Sunday session have somewhat subsided, I thought I should clarify that I was just stating the obvious in relation to Mitsui being a possible partner in Project Haber.
It's easy to forget that our neighbour in the PB is a multinational conglomerate that is involved in an array of industries, including chemicals and agriculture. Not to mention their AUD12+ billion pile of cash as of the end of 2020.
Any takeover talk just refers to the ever-increasing likelihood that attempts will be made. Wherever they come from, it doesn't mean such attempts will be successful. They'll set a nice floor to the share price etc etc. We're in good hands.
Anyway, there are so many dynamics at play now. All the pieces of the puzzle were coming together, but then the puzzle got bigger.
In the meantime, we watch and wait. Hopefully we'll start the week with news that everything is on track.
