G'day TH, Youll find the price of RP very difficult to get a price on, Lot of variables such as grade and contaminants distort the picture, prices will be quoted in US FOB (free on board) or FAS (free alongside) and distance to destination port plays a part. The world bank Pink sheet on commodoties release once a month about the 4th I think:
This is Morrocco's nominal price for FAS at Morrocco - add an x-factor convert to AUS $ and you get our price FOB at Darwin depending on the customer. Then add or subtract depending on our contaminant level compared to competitors. It is not on any exchange as such and only by negotiated contract and with Morrocco basically controlling the price this isn't a bad place to start.
HOws it going? -Terrible - way down from last years highs hence MAKs current discount - will it stabilise here? - (we make lots of money) or does it rebound halfway? (we make ludicrous amounts of money) or crash lower - we make no money and start looking for uranium. lol
