Whilst the January NTA release should show an outperformance month, more of a catalyst might be the few weeks after. Confirmation that another high fully franked dividend is coming soon, and that it can be sustainable over a few years easily enough might make it stand out more. I can see new buyers jump on the bandwagon as they often do around big dividends on LICs. It is also looking like the month of February might be strong. In terms of the usual discount, I can see it being re-rated from say that 15-20% to pre tax NTA band in recent months, to a bit under 10% to pre tax NTA.

Even though the shares have had a good run of late, wouldn't surprise me if the "live NTA", might still mean that 84 cents could be a 15% discount to pre tax NTA still? The next NTA report will not yet show that though as just the start of February has been strong.
