@fb. I had a chat with DB just a few hours ago, and I am confident he has a plan to take the company forward and provide value for shareholders irrespective of the appeal for the PDF status. It is a game changer for sure, but not a game ender. DB is concerned MEC shareholders have been greatly disadvantaged by history and seems genuinely concerned to set things right. And for those particular posters again ... no DB is not my messiah!

These are my thoughts on your specific questions, and not related to my conversation with DB ...

    1) MMR was never de-listed. It went into voluntary suspension. Given today's announcement it is not necessarily a bad thing that it is not trading.

    2) MMR will resume trading when requirements of the ASX have been meet and a CR takes place to provide capital to the company. This may just enable MMR to further its investment in Advent in the absence of PDF status and not give up too much of its slice. I still see BPH and MMR ending up with a similar slice of the Advent pie and now that MEC PDF status is likely gone (IMO), BPH may be slightly more attractive with its biotech investments.

    3) It is certain that BPH will increase its stake in Advent to at least 36%. We all know that. Other companies don't have to buy Advent shares from MEC to increase their own stake if MEC doesn't participate in Advent CRs - their interest will rise and MEC's will fall. When MEC comes back on line, like in 2010, there will be more than enough capital potential in BPH, MMR, Advent itself and maybe GBA too, to drill.

    4) MMR will resume trading when it gets cashed up. There will be no need for an in-specie distribution - DB already canned that. But it would be great if Advent does IPO, in my opinion, throwing open the doors to even more investment potential. But then it is such a closely held company that maybe DB will want to keep it that way.

The way it is ain't always the way it should or could be, hey?
