to me - it beggars belief that we continue to have these pointless arguments and debates about climate change and if it's gods fault or mans fault

the evidence is staring us in the face that the situation for human societies is grave ---------- no matter what the cause

things like bloody big holes in the ground appearing all over Siberia - melting the permafrost tell us one thing -------------- the planet - as far as harmonious human habitation goes - is in deep deep deep doo doo

end of story (and, yes - there's boatloads of other evidence as well - but, the Siberian permafrost is a big deal because it will make most other greenhouse gas releases look like kids play)

IMO - all our efforts should be going into one thing -------------- manage and engineer how in the name of god we are going to live here on this spinning rock - when the climate becomes very different from what we are all used to

instead of standing around bickering like a tuckshop committee - we need to get on with it ---------- rather urgently

we need new systems - it's fairly clear what any new system should be - clean, efficient, cheap if possible, have redundancy, etc etc -

these are just basic good engineering ingredients

instead - we look like a bunch of girls arguing about something totally irrelevant to living
