Recovering from full knee replacement. 14 months ago and the muscles are still not there yet. I was taken off pain meds two weeks after surgery. US opioid newest laws... Pinched a nerve in my neck in the main berth of my sailboat trying to sleep. I had crawled into a tight ball in a corner trying to escape the pain. Didn't help we were having a Kona Wind in Hawaii which reached up to 55 knots producing 1 meter swell in the anchorage several days after I got released from the hospital. Got a numbness in the left arm to the finger tips now. It was worse. Paddled out a couple times but no power in the legs. Training on a bike now-a-days doing our semi lock-down. Colder waters makes for a double lock-down as we are having our winter here. All the best to you astro boy TD
(P.S. The surgeon lied about his ability to prescribe meds. I found a pill Dr. about a month later... that was after I developed a blood clot in the leg during rehab.)
