I saw the BRN and Bosch patent material on my IPhone and thanks to Mr. Apple they were somewhat scrambled so could read the abstract but all the references were over typed/layed. So neither BRN or Bosch have granted patents for the Bit reduction techniques but BRN has the earlier filing date??? So I agree with your suggestion that someone like Tech should let Peter van der Made and Anil Mankar know about the Bosch application just in case.
