Yes indeed … but compare like with like.
Take OBJ at the same time-point as where RAC is now and the two are not completely obviously distinguishable.
In 2004 OBJ had the Minister of Health photographed looking very approving at what looked like some real science taking place.
At one time OBJ had (briefly) Australia’s most prominent scientist (Ian Frazer) as an advisor.
A more glass half full way of looking at things here is to appreciate that for every RAC to be produced you need 99 OBJs.
To complain now that you think your Perth penny stock biotech might be a lifestyle company is not really getting with the program.
The ASX perhaps does however need a better system to pension off the OBJs. If they go on too long you can get this inter-generational stuff happening like from JP(snr) to JP(jnr). And so like poverty (but in reverse) it can become exceptionally hard to break the cycle.
