And, as I've said before, Coles now seems to be employing the Bunnings strategy: you know how you go to Bunnings for a 20-cent item to finish a project and somehow you leave having spent $100?
I was at the gorgeous new Coles in Claremont WA a few weeks ago and bumped into a friend who dropped in 'for a loaf of bread.'
> 5 minutes later she sent her daughter for a plastic shopping basket
> 10 minutes later she sent the daughter for a shopping trolley
If she got out of Coles for less than $100, then I'll bet on the Fremantle Dockers to win this year's Grand Final!
