All Ords has no liquidity requirements so it's solely based on market cap. There's no specific market cap as far as I'm aware it has to balance out with all the company's in the index. I'm pretty sure $100m market cap is the benchmark but I cannot say for certain.

ASX300 would be next and this is based on market cap and liquidity.

ASX200 is the top 200 company's in Australia and this again is based on market cap and liquidity.

Reaching these bench marks are important because most funds have rules around which indexes they can purchase from with anything outside the ASX200 considered to be more risky so you wouldn't see superfunds shopping outside the top 200.

Rebalancing is conducted at the end of each quarter.
