Volt, I know how you feel. I have been hunting for a platform that is reasonably priced, has scripting and can be used on pretty much any market. After all the hunting around I have done I have decided the trading software market here in oz is well behind the rest of the world. All the good stuff I have looked at comes from the US and is usually much more reasonably priced because the software market is more competitive. I agree TS isn't cheap but I did play with a demo version.
I also tried a European software package and it was pretty good for trading but the scripting version was prohibitively expensive and really wasn't worth it.
It was a painful process that cost me a lot of time and money but I think it is finally over.
