good to see a new ceo with apparently strong credentials. The emphasis on prudent capital allocation in the announcement is encouraging. Does anyone have any knowledge of this new guy?
I’d rather see an EPS target than an EBITDA target. EBITDA and shareholder value aren’t always synonymous.
the 2.5c valuation egl is a little disappointing and the ebitda targets don’t look ambitious enough.
i wonder what the new CEO’s take on the activist shareholders will be? He may be able to unlock some of the positive suggestions coming from these activists late last year. Though an EPS target would have been a better measure for incentivising some of these.
