If that is the case, that would be much worse than an announcement stating expected business as usual for mining in Myanmar. Mining and human rights are mutually exclusive and have always conflicted, but trying to pause company progress in the wake of sovereign risk due to uncertainties is to show lack of confidence in the future of the company given the events unfolding. We need management to showcase positivity and optimism, a situation for MYL that is 'as good as can be' in light of the current unfortunate circumstances...instead of saying let's just keep waiting until there is political stability because the situation can continue indefinitely.
