It's a fantastic transaction for MLX holders.
Here are my calculations on how the transaction impacts the balance sheet. Huge 100m swing to the asset side, or ~11c/share
The $6.5m environmental bond is excluded because it's already recognised as a non-current asset in the financials.
You just gotta ask, how much of the Nifty transaction has been priced in to the shareprice already? I dare say, very little once you consider the value of the Tin asset.
