i understand the emotion of wanting to "make it big"

it is this drive that prompts thousands of people to play lotto every weekend. They know of course that the expected return is only around 40 cents per dollar spent (or whatever). . . . but the chance that they may be THE ONE who goes home with a million dollars in their pocket is enough to drive them to play.

In lotto they draw 6 numbers out of 45 and you need to get all 6 correct.

If you accidentally fill out your lotto card incorrectly and only choose 5 numbers then you can't possibly win.

Buying shares in IMI and hoping to "make it big" is like filling out only 5 numbers on your lotto card.

They do not have any technology or skills with which to make it big.
The best you can hope for is a small trading profit. Hope that there is a bigger fool out there about to bid it up .1 of a cent.
