i agree that its nice to be transparent but if im being honest i think a lot of shareholders expect too much and lack any form of patience
you realise that everytime they want to issue an asx company announcement it has to be vetted by their legal team, costs money and takes up a fair bit of time - and what are they supposed to say "we are delayed unfortunately due to the travel restrictions which we have already warned about, and we are still hamstrung by these restrictions right now". It would be a nothing announcement, they aren't going to do it.
you're right the market is fickle, that's why people should use it to their advantage, not join in with the crowd sentiment.
