I think Alan Gray is an astute investor, and more than likely argued against the Ares bid. As an astute investor he is probably playing a "long" and "short" game and not wringing his hands on a daily basis because of share market/price fluctuations. Reading posts on this forum is like talking about the glass being half full or half empty. Looking at the trading patterns and shorts activity it appears to me there is a lot of things happening behind the scenes that Alan Gray could be part of. Just an opinion from a long-suffering shareholder.
