The cluster number today that locked down VIC is what the UK reports per minute. I had dinner with an American colleague the other night. He told me his brother in Texas went for a routine health blood test and was told he'd at some stage had COVID-19. He doesn't even remember having so much as a mild head cold, yet has the antibodies. He's in his 60s. My aunt in Argentina contracted it at 86 and was ill for a week, now fine thank God.
The Texan's doctor told him there are a huge number of seroprevalence surveys showing infected people who can't remember being sick recently.
The infection numbers over the coming days will reveal a great deal. The golden three usually always works: wash hands with alcohol / soap regularly, socially distance, and wear a mask in crowded / public / indoor environments.
When this mess is over, Victoria will be the one who is bankrupt needing a bailout, if it isn't already.
