" have had a report from GGP that production from J1 was basically closed in till the drilling of J2 was complete .."

Now it all depends moussi !
The wording and time frame of the report that you are referring to is pretty important.

When Jumonville #2 was being spudded then operations on Jumonville #1 were shut down completely. The two well heads are relatively close and J #1 was shut down as a safety issue.

However, once the spudding was completed (about 2 weeks) then, as I understand it, J #1 was opened up again and able to flow oil and gas again.

Now I am not sure whether that renewed flow was restricted because of the continued drilling operation on J #2 or whether J #1 was returned to flowing at its previous rate.

So far as possible flow rates from J #2 is concerned.....well that is obviously in the crystal ball area.
It depends on whether they can get a commercial flow from the either of the Cib Haz layers. If they can get "good" flows then it could be 1,000 bopd plus.

If they can't get the Cib Haz to flow commercially then they will go up to the Miogyp layer. Because J #2 is updip from J #1 then the expectation is that it will flow better than J #1 with less water. So if J #1 is producing at about 470 bopd then J #2 may be expected to produce say at 600 or 700 bopd. Maybe even better.

Hopefully they will be successful getting the Cib Haz to deliver and deliver well because that will give them more options as well as a chance to see how the Cib Haz performs.
