Yeah remember the crash of 87' well. Back then l was a fresh faced 18yo working for one of the big 4 as an FX trader in Melbourne. Only had L plates on & fortunately not much to lose. But man people went to a whole new level of stress crazy.
Anyway the one thing l did learn from the crash was that the world didn't end and the markets would recover. Also a perfect opportunity to buy in on liquid & fundamentally strong stocks.
Geez there were some really good watering holes back then. I think it was The Mitre Tavern that was a special for a Friday lunchtime & beyond bevvy. Never a dull moment either when a few of the inked up blue & white collar workers got into a bit of biffo!
