My view is that this points to a fairly lengthy delay - water and steam are still flowing from the well more than a week after the incident and the cause remains unknown. Faced with a lengthy delay the SP will likely fall, reflecting a re-pricing for increased risk (and uncertainty). The problem would also have to be a factor in decision-making about govt grants.
As a separate issue, does anyone have any information about whether the water/steam from the well could contain pollutants that may require clean-up. There has been some talk of radioactive decay products, although the response has always been that the system is closed loop. Clearly, it's not closed loop at the moment... ;-)
