There's no inconsistency.
The poster on Monday got moderated because the whole content of his post was "read the afr today, put up or shut up". It was nothing more than an "I told you so." He didn't give any indication of what the article was about or what he thought it meant. It wasn't a constructive post at all.
The mods aren't out to get you. If you post a reasoned argument and back it up with a source (on the internet or not) then I'm sure you'll be ok.
