As the title asks, Do I need an accountant to check all of my trades to sign off for the ATO?
I keep strict records (handwritten, not in excel) of all trades and have broker information on all trades/holdings etc.....
My concern is that the ATO would audit me for doing it all by myself, and that an accountant would charge by the hour and take forever to go through the thousands of trades that I make/have made.......
Thanks in advance for information from traders in similar positions.
