Industrial action? Disruptive and embarrassing, but I don’t believe this will motivate the army to reverse course. To the contrary, junta will probably begin to ramp up detentions of protest leaders if the walk-outs continue, we’re already seeing a bit of that. I think for the strikes to hit the military where it hurts, there’ll need to be mass defections of police and military units to the other side. No sign of that so far
Strikes in the civil service (which do seem to be worsening) might slow down the permitting process though
