yeah ok. You just came out with a blanket statement that pyrrhotite will have a strong EM response coz it is magnetic. It was not
correct.
and yes i do understand the relationship between magnetic fields and generation of a current (conductivity), but you are getting caught on the remanent magnetic properties of the rock. A mag survey tells us about these, an EM survey doesn’t.
