From my understanding just a cheaper way to raise some money.
Intelligent Investor wrote a piece that helped me understand this type of thing a little more. I don't see the upside once you take opportunity cost into account and that at least in 2015 they included a note that paying investors back is at MQG discretion (no thank you IMO)
