In today's day & age, not knowing you're $650M over budget means you don't have good data &/OR don't know how to get useful information you need out of the data you do have. Even if $650M is 2/3 of a months after tax profit for FMG, this type of announcement will drag on AF's other lofty plans - particularly when it comes to having the confidence from financiers.
