MSB could fund itself if Ryoncil for GvHD was approved. This is not a small market and those who say it is either don't know or are not prepared to face the truth of what's going on. I've gone into this in some detail.

Regardless of who said what to whom, Ruxolitinib was approved on a single-arm trial for the same indication. Even if I accept the argument that MSB put the FDA in a difficult position by going for full approval when there was something already approved for children over twelve and adults, that drug is

    A TABLET

Patients are still being told GvHD is good for them when it's not. MSCs are not drugs and need their own set of rules. When you have such a situation in GvHD and anyone with common sense can see it's not working, why is the most important thing to stick to the rules?

I appreciate the sporting analogies from the clever posters on this forum, which helps to get the technical details into my thick head. It sounds reasonable on the surface.

Then I go away and do something else and it hits me how insane it all is. It reminds me of when doctors patiently explained to me that my child's autoimmune disease, being at the worst end of the spectrum, was incurable. It's been over a decade now and it's not coming back.

    A complete and absolute cure.

A revolution is going on. Medicine is under ferocious attack from people like me. The incurable chronic illness in a child or young person is a myth and we can prove it.

I'd say that fundamentally what my children suffered from was scepticism, the starting from the premise that they couldn't be cured. I view scepticism as opinion manufactured by people such as a high profile doctor and blogger who rails against pseudo science and alternative medicine. He does mention therapies that are obviously dodgy but it's training people to reason in a superficial way, the one case that informs them all. I emailed him to ask if he understood that alternative medicine was a broad category and included therapies such as FMT and off-label antibiotics but he didn't reply.

I note a similar style on this forum, the training us to think in a superficial way. Please don't think I'm suggesting this world is run by an old boys club of complete tossers.
