I didn't say anything even remotely controversial guys. There is no one best way to trade/invest. That you think there is just because of your own experiences is pretty narrow minded. I'm better at Tennis than I am at football. Does that mean Tennis is a better game than football? No. I don't need to be buffet or federer to make such an obvious statement.

I've read the classic FA books BuyNHold. I'm aware of the strengths and weaknesses of FA. Hint: you're only listing the strengths. It doesn't suit me right now and the argument that buying and holding offers guaranteed riches is massively flawed. Most people who employ FA techniques don't do it well enough or thoroughly enough to get the returns of Buffet/Fischer/Graham. It's a nice fantasy to think you're smarter than all the evil day traders and millions await if you just wait a few years, but in truth your odds aren't improved just because you know what a P/E ratio is. You need to do serious work to make FA pay off, and I don't see much evidence of it on the Boart forum. Looking up PALA's website and reading their marketing blurb isn't FA, it's wishful thinking combined with a confirmation bias.
