    Thanks for your post Farsight.

Those wipeouts are can only be experienced to really 'know' what it means to you.

Its good to hear you have made your way back.

Ive had two wipeouts from the market. The first was the worst in $ terms. The second time was a lot more.

In Winter 06 i had a $100 in my account with a mortgage and no job after my last trading shakedown. A mate happened through town and said we could cut firewood on his family's farm, so off we went.

My mate and his partner slept in a caravan out at the camp and i slept on the ground.

I'll never forget the cold nor the desperation.

I found an old book in the van called the 'Richest Man in Babylon' and read it. It helped form the direction i would take in life.

I worked long hard hours with a fierce determination not to give up when it beckoned many times in my mind.

From there its been one day at a time.

With great respect to you and your post, i had a hearty laugh when i read that you helped your cleaning lady's mum out by buying her shares - that was so funny to me!

    Worlds apart :)

Trading has taught me a lot about myself or maybe i had to learn a lot about myself in order to continue trading.

For me its still its one day at a time, sometimes you win sometimes you loose. Some days are more profitable than others but its never 'good' or 'bad' anymore, though i like to focus on whats working rather than whats not.

Anyway i did enjoy your post, thanks.

I think im going to board myself up for awhile like that guy Robbbbbbb told us about the other day - HC is such a distraction sometimes...lol

    Trade smart.
