Good post Scomo. For the record I'm unaffiliated with any party but am compelled to reply to your excellent post. I did read somewhere that they are trialling swap-out batts in China. Not sure if its with heavy / prime mover type vehics or passenger vehics. Pretty cool concept though. Imagine if you could have a back-up portable emergency "caught short" batt in the boot just to get you that last 5-10-50-100 k's.... It could be a multi-purpose batt that you could use for other things as well, when camping etc..... I predict it will be the most popular xmas gift in 2025. Just not in Aus. C'mon Scomo! Giz a leg-up. There's a vacant Holden plant in Elizabeth SA just begging to be re-tooled to churn out EVs. I dont know what the Aboriginal word for lightning is, but what about "The New Holden "Aboriginal-word-for-lightning" EV! Made in Aus by Australians. Fcuk Musk and his stupidly expensive 1.5 million dollar Teslas. Go Scomo!
