We only started rotating funds into mining companies (BHP and FMG) in March last year.
Would you believe all of our FMG purchase cost us only $270k invested during the GFC. Invested mainly into CBA and two other banks and reinvested dividends for 8 years with without selling a single share or a single trade trying to time the market. Rotated out of banks in 2015 and into A2M. Sold off 80% of that stock in March 2020 and into 17 other stocks with FMG being our biggest holding now.
Time in the market and compound interest using divi reinvesment got us to were we are today.
