Their response to the conditions in the tyre market in recent years, i.e., which I interpreted as stepping away from competing without generating an acceptable margin, was something that struck a chord of interest with me, as I own shares in one of Australia's largest tyre distributors.
Selling tyres in Australia has been a gnarly affair in recent years.
Little wonder capital is exiting the sector.
