Yeah the ALK stake has always been interesting. At the time of the original investment ALK stated they were just looking to use their expertise to build strategic stakes in juniors. The GMD stake was taken on at roughly the same time as stakes in CAI and EXU (which fell through). This is the reason I don't believe they are interested in a takeover, but who knows.
With so many processing plants nearby it really doesn't make sense to build this as a standalone project. DCN may be interested at some point too after their NTM buyout.
